During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2014 and 2013, we paid $8,093 and $909,411; and $474,837 and $1,245,535, respectively, to Intrexon Corporation (Intrexon) under the Exclusive Channel Collaboration Agreements (ECC Agreements) (See Note 7). Included in accounts payable and accrued expenses at September 30, 2014 and 2013 was $2,535 and $81,073, respectively, related to unpaid invoices received from Intrexon relating to work performed under the ECC Agreements. As of September 30, 2014 and 2013 Intrexon owned approximately 24% and 23%, respectively, of our outstanding common stock. |
